Description
While living in Wisconsin, we were blessed to have large numbers of Northern Cardinals coming in to our bird feeding station. One late afternoon, we counted 26 males sitting in the bushes just outside our sunroom windows! This male was photographed after a winter storm left the trees and bushes all covered with snow. I propped open the sunroom window and shot away. I was not only fortunate enough to make the capture, but this photo is one of ten used in the winter 2020/21 "Winter Series" of U.S. Postage Stamps.
