Description
A beautiful female Chestnut-sided Warbler perches amidst the foliage of a Wisconsin spring forest during its northward migration. I think this type of photography was my favorite and most rewarding. Not only will the warblers always hold a special place in my heart, but to be able to sit down on a log and capture photographs as the birds foraged around you, often within just a few feet. Nothing better!
